Sceala Irish Craic Forum Discussion:     Lizzie Coming to Town
As part of the 400th anniversary of the settlement of Jamestown, Queen Elizabeth is coming to Virginia this week. She'll be visiting various sites, addressing the General Assembly (the VA "congress"), going to some "do" at Jamestown, and I think coming to Charlottesville for something or other. They had a lottery going for people who wanted to do the meet-and-greet when she comes to town.

I won't be going, of course. But I do have to wonder if anyone will be asking any hard questions....like...what about all the Irish slaves that came to VA during that time under the name of English indentured servants?

Anyway, lots of folks are very excited about the whole thing.
