Can't say I am impressed after watching Patrick Honohan on a hard talk BBC, a interview with Patrick Honohan of the Central Bank of Ireland.
Apart from being a poor quality interview and simple relaxed friendly questioning, certainly not Hard talk or at all insightful.
He, Patrick Honohan comes across as someone who blusters and bumbles away as a personal style or awkward habit when stressed.
Patrick Honohan opinions often come across as pre formed regardless of questions posed, he blusters out long winded bumblings that present poorly, including side tracking incidentals and meaningless than his real or full thoughts.
Possibly why he comes across as someone who makes it up as he goes along.
Probably unfair of course, as why would anyone just make it up as they went along and bluster out some hot air!
Then again I just checked Patrick Honohan's salary as Irish central bank Governor,his salary is a reported €276,324.
Certainly incentive enough to talk shyte.

I am still none the wiser as to what went wrong with the Banks in Ireland, or at all confident that anything much has changed, not even the inflated salaries for hot air merchants like Richie Boucher and David Hodgkinson , so thanks for nothing there Patrick Honohan!
but can at least understand the basis for the cartoon.
