Was watching The Boondock Saints AGAIN just before.and then i got to thinkin.movies like this,and lets not forget stephen["its MY ireland"]played by the wonderful actor david o`hara in Braveheart.Do ye reckon they damage our reputation in foreigners eyes?reinforce the old stereotypes.or do ye reckon theyre portrayed more fairly and realistically than they were say 10years ago.where it was "the thieving insane irishman"who always seems to spout "TO BE SURE,TO BE SURE" OR "TOP O DA MORNIN TO YE" I for one have never heard an irishman ever feckin say that horses load o shite in my life! and my parents never said it either.so what are yr opinions?
theres probably another thread somewhere on this topic and i apologize if there is.just havent seen it yet. goggle
