The splashes of the ocean
was soft upon my face
stood there shivering
waiting just in case

my mind was drifting
a week now it has passed
you were to meet me
but never came to be

could picture you here
holding me so close
smileing and so glad
your strong arms holding

others they had joined me
never felt them there
knew my eyes alone
would surely spot you there

we stood until the darkness left
the light that told it all
youd never come and hold me
the sea had claimed you all .
