Not where I expected
So recently rejected
Freshly wounded
The impact made me
Jump with surprise
I felt your eyes
Burn into me
Watching for my reaction...

Virtual reality....

There was a change in you
Since last we spoke
I cannot say how or why
But your voice was lighter tonight


With a bit of moon
A sliver rules
The sky was bright

We shall not talk of unpleasantness
Enough of that went on before
It is bliss to have you standing there
In your virtual reality
My cup is full
My heart is open...
