St. Kevin built his Monastery
By the shores of Glendelough
As you weave down the mountain trail
Forget time...turn off your clock

Wind down the trail past forest glens
Stoney fields and tiers of streams
All running towards St. Kevin
And his lovely Monastery

So peaceful here beside the Lake
In solitude is found
The vision I've been seeking
As the spiral spins around

The people that pass by me
Do not know what I have seen
By the shores of Glendelough
And St. Kevin's Monastery
