TANGLES

Tangles, in Tangles
All lost and at angles
Absentmindedly pleasant
Starcrossed at all sphreres
Constantly dissolving
Like the Fool Evolving
Shedding his shattered
And tattered old fears

Once I fell in love with a balladeer fair
Another time fancied a warrior bold
A mysterious knight chanced
To charm me in flight
Of Romantic adventures his sweet kisses told...

Tangles, in Tangles
All lost and at angles
Absentmindedly pleasant
Starcrossed at all sphreres
Constantly revolving
Like the Fool Evolving
Shedding his shattered
And tattered old fears


Fell in love once and got married twice
None of the two ever happened thrice
But I've learned to heed
The faeries' whispered advice
And I must say good bye in the mornin'

Rarely settled for long
