Irish Language Forums Discussion:     Need some help with Gaelic phrases!
I have two requests.
First, what is the Gaelic phrase for Happy Birthday?

Second, when my wife and I were in Dingle City back in July, we were walking down a street to the bay. We noticed a Crucifix, beneath which was a marker with writing in Gaelic. It had about 16-20 names and then this phrase,

Do Cum Sloire oe agus onord na h-eireann

What does this mean? I belive the na h-eireann means Ireland, but not 100% sure. Just starting to learn the Gael.

The Happy Birthday part is for my wife, as she works for an Irish based company and her boss was born and raised in Dublin, but now lives here in Tennessee. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
