Lost on Mt. Hood, Oregon

I have been following the news cast about these three men that went climbing together now over a week ago.

The one called his family from a snow cave about 8 days ago to say they were in trouble. Rescue teams have been looking ever since. Then a bad storm delayed further search.

After the storm, helicopters were looking in the vicinity where they believe the cell phone transmission occurred. .. what they call a cell phone ping. any way, they spotted some things and the weather, fair today, so air lifted the search and resuce team to top of the Mt. Hood to climb down toward the findings.

Very disappointing is they found the cave, a sleeping bag, a couple of ice picks,etc. but no men. So, are still looking with darkness coming soon.

This is a very sad thing but still hopeful as they were very experienced climbers so know all possible survival techniques if they can just hold out til found...

So, two are from Texas and one from New York... I pray they will be found and home safe with families for the holidays...
