The Kerry Blue is one of my favourites echo, now ye are talking a smart and a dog made for the hills of Ireland. We have a few of them in the family so I will fetch ye some good ones.

It is not justice looking at one in a photo, as to why they got the blue, because in sunshine the coat does look as if powdery blue grey metal.

They are absolute feckers by the way, very annoyingly loveable though; they usually hate (and I mean hate) other dogs Laughing

don't give a feck how loud ye call them Laughing

they will go after any bird in the hills and for certain try and catch a gull straight over a cliff Laughing

(no they usually stop at the very last moment as if hill magnets are on their paws sometimes literally hanging over the edge, looking down cursing they can't fly) but aside of those plus points, they are about as dependable as they arrive, this now is as cute out (as in canny) as a dog could be.

There are two maybe three dogs that were replaced by the over populated Jack Russell, the Kerry blue was one of them.

The Kerry Blue was one of the old Irish farm dogs, not just Kerry at all mind, in fact more up in North Leinster Ulster border were they once mad for these dogs
