Questions and Answers ...is the Irish audience–based current affairs discussion show ...with weekly live debates on key issues effecting Ireland today.
Typically the show is more hot air and political point scoring ...than it is informing or revealing .
Last night Questions and answers ....was a stark contrast.
The man you will see and hear is Michael O'Brien ...The former Mayor of Clonmel.
Mr O'Brien talks so eloquently and with such positive command on his own behalf ....and on behalf of all of the Irish victims of child abuse and neglect.
He talked for all Irish people who are ....so sickened by what happened to children in our land.
Mr O'Brien had both myself and my dear Wife near to tears ...in admiration.
Until this man spoke ...political windbags came out with the same old excuses ...using the ...law ....to tell us that no more could be done.
Today it appears that one Man's voice ....Mr O'Brien's ...has forced the rigid and antiquated legal system of ours ...to open up and admit that ....it is not definitive after all.
As Mr O'Brien went on to say ..it was the Irish legal system that sent him to this horror ...and branded Michael ...the child ....a criminal.
