Irish Poetry Writers Forum Discussion:     Autumn's Arrival
I wrote this for my love's wonderment of Autumn:

Autumn's Arrival

The wind swirls in billows of miniature tornadoes
carrying the dance of the leaves in a twisting myriad of Fall's colors.

The wee dancers splashing the entire street with hues of reds,
oranges, greens, yellows and browns.

Aye, the quiet and tranquil landscape having been lavishly
painted in festive Fall attire.

Oh but not only the colorful dancers in the wind...but those
trembling yet stubbornly clinging to morning's frosty branches

Then the others…

Heavy with the morning autumn dew, are pasted to the lanes,
meadows, and rooftops even adorning cars in the wonderment
of the Fall fashion show.

The sight of it all could only be described by use of an
oxymoron in that it was the most beautiful disarray ever
witnessed.
